Discomfort, incontinence, or pressure “down there” isn’t just frustrating. It’s isolating, and many people feel embarrassed, dismissed, or unsure where to turn. At Alliance Physical Therapy, we offer pelvic floor therapy in a comfortable, private setting with therapists who are specially trained to treat pelvic floor dysfunction with care and expertise.
Whether you're experiencing urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, or post-surgical discomfort, your symptoms are valid — and there are effective ways to manage them.
Leaking when you laugh, sneeze, or exercise
Pain during intercourse or pelvic exams
A heavy or bulging sensation
Trouble fully emptying the bladder or bowels
Discomfort while sitting or standing for long periods
Your first visit is a 1:1 evaluation in a private room with a physical therapist trained in pelvic health physical therapy. During this session, we’ll:
Discuss symptoms, goals, and medical history
Observe movement patterns and posture
Do a gentle assessment of pelvic floor muscle function
If needed, conduct internal assessments (vaginally or rectally)
From there, your dedicated clinician creates a custom treatment plan that may include:
Manual therapy for trigger points and tight tissue
Targeted exercise programs to build strength and control
Education to reduce pain and improve day-to-day function
Real-world strategies for bowel, bladder, and sexual health
Our doctors of physical therapy are here to guide you with the clarity, compassion, and care that you deserve.
Every appointment takes place in a quiet, private room — never behind curtains or in open areas. You’ll work one-on-one with a licensed provider who listens without judgment.
Our pelvic floor physical therapists have advanced, evidence-based training in treating a wide range of pelvic floor dysfunctions across all genders, life stages, and diagnoses.
More than just treating symptoms, we help you rebuild confidence, control, and comfort in how you move through life.
Pelvic pain, incontinence, or prolapse aren’t “just part of aging” or something to quietly tolerate. With the right plan and the right guide, you can strengthen your core, reduce pain, and return to the activities you love.
